As a Business Analyst reporting to the Senior Product Manager, you'll play a critical role in delivering best-in-class regulatory reporting software — translating complex financial and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable product specifications that empower global financial institutions. You'll thrive in this position if you're analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative, with a strong understanding of financial and regulatory frameworks and a passion for innovation in the fintech space. Key Responsibilities Translate regulatory requirements into clear product features and functional specifications, aligned with EBA and applicable local regulations. Write and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specifications Documents (FSDs), clearly defining data inputs, processes, logic, and expected outcomes. Partner closely with Development, QA, and Product teams to ensure requirements are well-understood, accurately built, and compliant with regulatory expectations. Serve as a subject-matter expert throughout the product lifecycle, supporting test case development, clarifying requirements, and addressing regulatory questions. Monitor regulatory changes and industry trends to proactively inform and support ongoing product evolution. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. 3–6+ years of proven experience in business analysis, product management, or a related role within fintech, regulatory/compliance or financial services. Strong ability to translate complex regulatory and business requirements into structured, developer-ready documentation. Clear communicator with experience working across cross-functional, matrixed teams including engineering, design, and QA. Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, and key banking products. Strong knowledge of financial regulatory frameworks, including EBA guidelines, FINREP and statistical/financial reporting standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience with regulatory reporting platforms or compliance-focused software products. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar. Exposure to data and analytics tools or concepts, such as SQL, or similar technologies. Any additional spoken languages e.g. French, Spanish, German, Dutch would be beneficial.
