This RN or LPN works 12-hour shifts, an average of 24 hours per week. Every third weekend and a holiday rotation are required. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation, and job descriptions. LPN ($25.22-$37.83 based on experience): A care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of primarily elderly patients for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Works both cooperatively and independently, to work efficiently under stress.
