This role plays a critical part in delivering compassionate, high-quality oncology care. Key Responsibilities Welcome and prepare patients for clinic visits. Obtain and document vital signs, height, weight, and other clinical information. Perform venipuncture and collect laboratory specimens as ordered. Properly label and process laboratory specimens. Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring adequate supplies and cleanliness. Document patient information accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR). Support quality initiatives, including CMS Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) documentation. Assist with scheduling, appointment verification, patient check-in, and other administrative support functions. Provide phone coverage and support clinic operations as needed. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, and colleagues.
