Estheticians are a key part of the service delivery team at the Ancient Cedars Spa. By offering relaxation-based treatments, our Therapists and Practitioners pamper our guests and add to their world class memorable experience at the Wickaninnish Inn. Estheticians are to perform a variety of treatments such as manicures, pedicures, facials, and body treatments, as well as participate in our retail product sales program.
As an Esthetician you will:
- Ensure efficient and personalized guest service meeting and exceeding Relais & Chateaux, AAA 4 & 5 Diamond and Forbes Standards.
- Provide Skin Treatments: Administer facials, peels, and other relaxation-based skin treatments tailored to clients' specific needs to enhance their appearance and promote healthy skin.
- Conduct Consultations: Assess clients' skin conditions, discuss skincare goals, and recommend personalized treatment plans and products.
- Perform Hair Removal: Utilize techniques such as waxing, threading, and laser treatments to remove unwanted hair from various body parts.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure all tools, equipment, and work areas are sanitized and comply with health and safety regulations to provide a safe and hygienic environment.
- Stay Updated on Trends: Continuously update knowledge on the latest skincare products, techniques, and industry trends to provide elevated services and recommendations.

- The availability to work evenings, weekends and open to adjusting schedule for business needs.
- A minimum of 1,000 hours of training and education from a recognized institution.
- The ability to thrive in a remote, small-town environment.
- Minimum 1 year experience in the Health and Wellness Industry, Resort or Destination Spa experience would be an asset.
- The ability to make a commitment to the position for a mutually understood and agreed upon period of time.
Salary/Wage: 25–35% commission on services, plus 10–15% retail commission, paid monthly
