As a Cardiac Holding Room RN, you’ll play an essential role in preparing and recovering patients who are undergoing life-saving heart procedures. What You’ll Do: Provide expert nursing care in the pre- and post-procedure phases for patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, device insertions, and related interventions. Prepare patients by initiating IVs, administering medications, completing assessments, and ensuring readiness for procedures. Educate and support patients and families, offering clear guidance and reassurance throughout their experience. Monitor vital signs, cardiac status, and procedure sites to ensure safe recovery and smooth transitions of care. Collaborate with cardiologists, Cath Lab teams, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless, high-quality care. Maintain the highest standards of safety, infection control, and patient advocacy. What We’re Looking For: Required: Current Montana RN license (or ability to obtain). 1+ year(s) of acute care experience (critical care, cardiac, emergency, or procedural nursing preferred). BLS and ACLS certifications. Preferred: BSN 2+ year(s) of acute care experience. Prior experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiology, or IR. Knowledge of cardiac medications, hemodynamic monitoring, and conscious sedation. Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Why Logan Health?
