As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be accountable for the architecture, performance, reliability, and security of enterprise network services across multiple sites — including routing and switching, wireless, firewalls, remote connectivity, and network automation. Wireless is a core focus, with modernization and ongoing tuning needed as manufacturing environments evolve. Provide Tier 3 support for complex network and wireless issues; lead root cause analysis and drive long-term remediation. Mentor and develop junior engineers, establishing standard methodologies and growing team technical capabilities. Configure and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama to support secure network architecture and segmentation. Partner with Security and OT teams to design and enforce secure network architectures, including segmentation and access control using Cisco ISE. Support and improve Meraki SD-WAN and enterprise connectivity solutions across sites. Develop and maintain network standards, architecture documentation, design records, and operational procedures. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and architectural improvements aligned with business and modernization goals. Monitor performance trends and proactively improve capacity, reliability, and user experience. Lead vendor engagements, design reviews, and project delivery, ensuring alignment with standards and timelines. Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network services and infrastructure. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience required. 8+ years of enterprise networking experience, including multi-site environments. Advanced expertise in Cisco networking (routing, switching, and wireless). Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting enterprise wireless networks, including RF design, site surveys, and troubleshooting in complex physical environments.
