About you and this role As a Technical Service & Development (TS&D) Specialist, you will provide technical leadership and application development support across the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey (MEAT) region. You will leverage in-depth knowledge of chemistry, materials science, engineering, and customer applications to support customers across the Infrastructure, Mobility, and Consumer market segments. In this role, you will work closely with customers, marketing, sales, product management, and R&D teams to develop innovative application solutions, solve complex technical challenges, and create differentiated value through Dow technologies. You will serve as a technical expert, influencing both internal and external stakeholders while driving business growth through innovation, technical excellence, and customer engagement.You will be expected to lead technical projects, provide mentorship to less-experienced colleagues, contribute to intellectual property development, and represent Dow at industry events and conferences. Responsibilities · Provide technical expertise and application development support to customers across the MEAT region, helping solve complex technical challenges. · Develop and promote differentiated technical solutions that create value for customers while supporting Dow's business objectives. · Lead and manage technical projects, technology roadmaps, and innovation initiatives, including intellectual property development. · Build strong customer relationships by delivering technical service, responding to inquiries, and supporting strategic accounts. · Identify new market opportunities through competitive analysis, market insights, and collaboration with marketing and commercial teams. · Represent Dow as a technical leader by mentoring colleagues, delivering presentations, publishing technical papers, and speaking at industry events. Qualifications Master's Degree or PhD in Chemistry, Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related field. Experience supporting customers within Infrastructure, Mobility, Consumer, or related market segments. Demonstrated involvement in intellectual property development, patents, technical publications, or industry presentations. Experience working in a multinational or geographically diverse business environment. Your Skills Strong technical problem-solving and application development expertise, with the ability to create innovative customer solutions. Proven project management, strategic thinking, and business acumen to drive technical and commercial success. Effective customer engagement, technical consulting, and stakeholder management skills across diverse markets. Ability to analyze market trends, competitive technologies, and data to identify growth opportunities. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the capability to simplify complex technical concepts for varied audiences. Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration, mentoring, coaching, and influencing teams to achieve business objectives. Additional Notes This role supports customers and business growth across the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey (MEAT) region. Occasional regional and international travel may be required to support customers, projects, and industry events. The position requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, R&D, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams. The successful candidate will act as a technical ambassador for Dow technologies and represent the company at external industry forums and customer engagements. Experience working with diverse cultures, markets, and customer environments will be highly advantageous.
