You'll schedule and perform in-field verification of Rater-reported results, ensuring Field Verification & Diagnostic Testing (FVDT) protocols were correctly followed, and provide written feedback to Raters to address and help resolve any discrepancies found. This is a field-based role requiring 3-4 days per week on-site performing inspections, with the flexibility to travel overnight at least once a month for sites farther from home base. Day trips are typically within about 2 hours of your home base; overnight trips cover greater distances. You'll independently coordinate your own scheduling and travel routes. Responsibilities Conduct on-site QA reviews of Title 24 Rater work Perform Field Verification & Diagnostic Testing (FVDT) Compare in-field findings against Rater-submitted results in the CHEERS platform Provide written feedback and document findings, communicating directly with Raters to resolve discrepancies Coordinate travel and scheduling independently, including occasional overnight trips (monthly) Qualifications Minimum 2 years' experience as a HERS/ECC Rater, HVAC Tech/Contractor, Building Inspector, Energy Consultant, or T24 SME Strong knowledge of HERS & FVDT protocols Ability to conduct field diagnostic testing HVAC installation or direct-install background a plus Excellent written communication and organization skills Independent, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own schedule and routes Compensation & Benefits $65,000-$75,000/year (depending on experience) Mileage reimbursement (current IRS rate) for use of personal vehicle DOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
