Job Details: Job Description: Altera is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior Finance Analyst to join the Finance team. This individual will support financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, with a focus on analytics and broader corporate finance initiatives. This role partners closely with the corporate FP&A and Business finance team to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful financial analysis. This role is ideal for a highly motivated finance professional who enjoys working with data, building models, and partnering with business teams in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Analysis Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and long term strategic plans. Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, scenario planning, and business decision-making. Assist in the consolidation and analysis of full P&L data. Reporting & Variance Analysis Prepare variance analyses vs forecasts. Develop clear, accurate reporting packages and dashboards for finance and business leadership. Investigate and summarize key drivers behind spending variances and trends. Business Partnering & Support Partner with department stakeholders to gather inputs for budgets and forecasts. Respond to ad hoc data requests and analyses from finance leadership and business partners. Support headcount and workforce cost tracking across the company. Process & Systems Support Help maintain and improve forecasting processes, templates, reporting tools, and financial systems. Support data integrity and consistency across planning and reporting systems. Contribute to broader finance transformation and process improvement initiatives as needed. The pay range below is for Bay Area California only. Qualifications: Required Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field. 5-7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or a related discipline. Strong Excel and financial modeling skills; comfort working with large data sets. Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Experience in semiconductor, technology, manufacturing, or other high-growth global organizations. Experience with enterprise planning and reporting platforms such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Oracle, SAP, or similar. Exposure to G&A or operating expense budgeting and forecasting.
