This position will work no more than 39 hours per week. The pay rate for this position $19.29/hour and is eligible to enroll in the City and County of Denver’s 457b retirement plan. This position is not eligible for other additional benefits. On‐call positions may have routine or variable work schedules. What You’ll Do The City and County of Denver’s Department of Parks and Recreation offers Youth Sports programming for kids ages 3 - 17 years. Our team of devoted Coaches enrich the lives of youth through engagement of sports, learning the fundamentals of numerous sports including baseball, basketball, coach pitch, T-ball, softball, flag football, gymnastics, tumbling, cheerleading, volleyball, soccer, and track and field. Our team of Scorekeepers will support Site Supervisors in the operation of youth sports games. As a Youth Sports Scorekeeper (Recreation Assistant), you will: Set up and break down league site equipment. Perform scorekeeping and report scores to Site Supervisors following the completion of games. Manage game rosters. Ensure good sportsmanship, participant safety, and enforce program rules. Have fun and ensure a fun experience for participants. The Youth Sports winter season runs from December to March.
