This is a casual opportunity with availability Monday to Saturday, with typical shifts between 7:45am and 5:15pm.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming patients and creating a warm first impression
- Managing appointment bookings and keeping the diary organised
- Answering calls and helping patients with enquiries
- Processing payments, health fund claims and general reception administration
- Keeping patient information accurate and up to date
- Supporting the dental team with day-to-day administrative tasks
- Helping the reception area stay organised and welcoming
- Working with the wider team to keep the day running smoothly
What you’ll bring:
- Previous reception, customer service or administration experience
- A friendly and confident communication style
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and stay calm when the reception gets busy
- Confidence speaking with a wide range of patients
- A professional and approachable manner
- A genuine interest in helping people
- Dental or medical reception experience is highly regarded, but not essential
