Rate: £24.00–£27.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Job Overview
Pulse is currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Band 7 Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist to join the team at Parsons Green Health Centre, supporting mainstream schools across Hammersmith and Fulham. This locum role is ideal for clinicians with a passion for working in educational settings and delivering impactful care to children and young people.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide face-to-face speech and language therapy services in mainstream school settings
- Complete Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) assessments and contribute to multi-agency planning
- Deliver high-quality intervention and support for children with speech, language, and communication needs
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with professional standards
- Collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to support child development
Requirements
- Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (required)
- HCPC registration (required)
- Experience working in mainstream schools and completing EHCP assessments
- Proficiency in using SystmOne (S1)
- Strong communication and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to work independently and flexibly across school sites
