Our client provides specialist paediatric occupational therapy services for children and young people with complex physical, developmental, and sensory needs. Their multidisciplinary team works collaboratively to deliver high-quality care and support across community and clinical settings.
About the Role
As a Highly Specialist Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will:
- Work as an autonomous practitioner managing a complex caseload.
- Undertake advanced assessments using standardised and non-standardised tools.
- Develop and implement tailored intervention plans for children with diverse needs.
- Provide specialist advice and consultation to families, schools, and other professionals.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and EHCP processes.
- Support service development and participate in audits and clinical governance activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced OT to make a significant impact in a short-term role within a supportive team environment.
About You
- Diploma/BSc/MSc in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Extensive experience in paediatric occupational therapy, including complex cases.
- Advanced clinical reasoning and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
