About BJAK

The original mission of BJAK is we believe people deserve smarter ways to plan, save and grow their money. This is the origin of our name.

Started in 2019, we built the first mobile-first, insurance platform, enabling insurance to be accessible online by millions in the region. Today, its the leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia.

Today, we are expanding ways to help people in the region — this includes spending, saving, investing, exchanging, travelling, and more. Our mission is help people get more from their money every day.

We have teams working around the world, with over 20 nationalities from our offices and remotely, who truly enjoys their work. We are looking for the most talented and driven people we can find. We are looking for people who work for their passion, not counting hours. Who loves building great next-generation products, not status quo. Who cares about redefining how everyone around us can get the best financial applications, not for an exclusive few.

If you're this person, we'd love to talk to you.

The Role

We are looking for a Creative Project Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting great campaigns, videos, and visual stories. You’ll oversee the smooth and timely execution of event and activation ideas, the production of bold and high-impact creative work, and community growth.

What You’ll Do

1. Project & Workflow Management

  • Manage creative project intake, ensuring requests are clearly briefed, prioritized, and aligned with business needs

  • Oversee the entire creative workflow — from kickoff to delivery — keeping all moving parts on track

  • Maintain visibility of timelines, resources, and dependencies to prevent bottlenecks and ensure deadlines are met

2. Resource & Asset Coordination

  • Allocate and manage resources across multiple creative projects

  • Ensure designers, videographers, and content creators have all required briefs, references, and materials before starting

  • Maintain organized creative asset libraries and ensure proper version control

3. Cross-Team Communication

  • Serve as the central liaison between creative, marketing, product, and leadership teams

  • Communicate project updates, timelines, and priorities clearly and consistently

  • Ensure alignment and transparency across all creative initiatives

4. Process Improvement & Quality Control

  • Identify process inefficiencies and propose improvements to optimize speed and quality

  • Uphold creative quality by ensuring all projects go through proper review and approval processes

  • Support post-project reviews to evaluate success and gather learnings for future initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3–5 years in project management, traffic management, or creative operations (agency or in-house).

  • Proven ability to manage complex, fast-moving creative projects end-to-end.

  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Notion) and familiarity with creative tools/workflows.

  • Bonus: Experience managing video production or digital campaigns.

Location

This role is based in Malaysia. This is a hybrid role. You are expected to work from our Malaysia office at least 3 days per week.

Language

English is our main working language across global teams. Strong English communication is required.

Interview Process

Our process is designed to move fast:

  1. Portfolio review

  2. Online assessment or practical task

  3. Role-specific interview

  4. CEO / Final Interview

For strong candidates, we aim to complete the process and make an offer within 1 week from the start of the interview process. Candidates who complete assessments quickly will be prioritized.
