SpaceXAI

Southaven, MS

Receiving Specialist, Supercomputer Operations - Memphis.

DATA & ML

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today, SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of making life multiplanetary and expanding consciousness to the stars.

SpaceXSI is building Super Intelligence to help humanity understand the universe. Our teams are building the full Super Intelligence stack: from our Colossus supercomputers, to Grok models, to our suite of applications, including Grok Bot, Grok Build, Grok Imagine, Grok Voice, and X. We're creating a powerful flywheel where more compute trains better models, better models power more useful products, and what we learn from people using those products shapes what we build next.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Receiving Specialist supporting SpaceXSI data center operations, you will be responsible for the accurate, timely receipt, inspection, and processing of high-value materials and equipment (servers, GPUs, networking gear, power systems, cooling infrastructure, and other critical components). • Experience with ERP systems and scanning equipment (RF scanner, handheld scanner, etc.)
  • Experience operating a forklift and other powered industrial equipment
  • Experience with the control of nonconforming hardware and related processes
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with the Microsoft suite
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted; frequent lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying required
  • Must be available for one of the following 12.5-hour shifts: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
  • Work schedule follows a rotating pattern of 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off (and repeating)
