Eucalyptus

Barcelona, Spain

General Manager, Spain.

We're the world's leading consumer healthcare platform, supporting millions of patients across the US, Australia, the UK, Germany, Japan, Spain and Canada.

We're driven by the belief that good health should last a lifetime, and that to get there we need to deliver the personalised, high quality and empathetic care that the traditional system cannot support.

You'll partner with our care teams of prescribers, nurses, health coaches, pharmacists and dietitians to support patients across preventative health, weight management and specific women's and men's health conditions.

We joined Hims & Hers so that you can do all of the above on a bigger scale, with more ambition, a stronger global brand and the resources to deliver care to patients in dozens of countries.

We're looking for people who appreciate and are excited by the enormity and uniqueness of this challenge, and want to work in the most ambitious, smart, fast moving and positive sum environment of their lives to transform how healthcare is delivered globally.

We hope that's you.

WHAT'S NEXT

Spain is one of our next major growth markets and this is the first senior hire we're making on the ground. We're looking for someone who wants to build something meaningful from scratch and define what great looks like as we scale.

We're running Spain on a deliberately centralised model. Buying, creative and performance marketing run from our central growth team. Commercial strategy and special projects sit centrally too. That leaves the GM free to do the part that actually wins a market like this: build a product patients love and the operations that deliver it, day after day. You'd be based in Spain, most likely Barcelona.THE ROLE

THE ROLE

This is a leadership role. You'd be the General Manager for Juniper Spain, leading the launch from zero and owning the local business as it grows. You'd report into our international leadership team.

From day one you own the local product experience and the operations behind it. That means what a great Juniper looks like in Spain, how reliably patients get a high-quality experience, and the unit economics that make it work. You'd build and lead a small local team over time. The growth engine sits centrally, so your focus is the service, the operations and the people.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Define what makes Juniper win in Spain and what a great customer experience looks like locally.

  • Own retention, engagement and customer outcomes, from onboarding through to long-term customer loyalty.

  • Improve the end-to-end customer journey, ensuring a seamless experience from consultation through to treatment.

  • Build the local operating model, systems and processes required to scale whilst maintaining quality.

  • Hire, develop and lead a high-performing local team.

  • Partner closely with central product, growth and clinical teams to localise the experience for Spanish consumers.

  • Own local operational performance, service quality and unit economics.

  • Build local partnerships, community and brand relevance within the Spanish market.

  • Act as the voice of the customer and market, influencing product and business decisions across the wider organisation.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • You've built and scaled something before. Most likely you've spent time in a high-growth consumer business such as mobility, marketplaces, food delivery or quick commerce, where you've had responsibility for launching markets, building teams and delivering commercial outcomes.

  • You're able to identify what makes a business win and translate that into the operating model, customer experience and team required to deliver it.

  • You combine strategic thinking with strong execution. You're comfortable operating in ambiguity, making decisions with imperfect information and rolling up your sleeves when needed.

  • You've led teams before, care deeply about hiring great people and have experience building organisations as they scale.

  • You're commercially minded, understand unit economics and know how to balance customer experience with sustainable growth.

  • Most importantly, you're a builder. You bring energy, ownership and a bias for action, and you're excited by the challenge of creating something from the ground up.

At Eucalyptus, we value individuals from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives, and we embrace the unique qualities each person brings. When you apply, please let us know of any reasonable adjustments you may need during the interview process. We use AI-assisted tools across our business to help our teams work more efficiently, including within our recruitment process. These tools support our team — all hiring decisions are made by real people, and every application is reviewed by a member of our recruitment team.
