About the role

Clinical Educators at BAYADA play a critical role in supporting the development and readiness of our field staff. The primary responsibility of this position is planning, leading, and evaluating clinical simulation scenarios within our lab environment to strengthen caregiver confidence, clinical judgment, technical skills, and patient safety.

In this role, you will help translate clinical standards into practical, real-world learning experiences. You will create a supportive environment where nurses can practice skills, receive meaningful feedback, build independence, and prepare to care for pediatric clients with complex needs in the home.

At BAYADA, every role is connected to our mission of helping people have a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity. If you are a nurse educator who is passionate about simulation-based learning, clinical excellence, mentorship, and pediatric home care, this could be the next step in your career.

What you’ll do

  • Plan, coordinate, lead, and evaluate hands-on clinical simulation scenarios in the skills lab

  • Facilitate experiential learning activities that reflect real-world home care situations

  • Support new-hire orientation, clinical onboarding, competency validation, and ongoing field staff development

  • Observe clinical performance, identify learning needs, and provide timely coaching and feedback

  • Reinforce BAYADA standards, policies, clinical best practices, and patient safety expectations

  • Partner with Clinical Managers and office leadership to support caregiver readiness and quality outcomes

  • Assist with performance improvement plans and targeted education based on identified opportunities

  • Conduct clinical chart reviews and contribute to utilization review reporting

  • Maintain accurate documentation of training, competency, and educational activities

  • Help promote a culture of continuous learning, accountability, compassion, and excellence

  • Conduct client assessments and complete the care-planning process, including development, implementation, and updates to each client’s individualized plan of care

  • Provide clinical and client case management

What you bring

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey; multi-state or compact license preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of staff development or nursing education experience

  • Experience supporting orientation, clinical onboarding, competency validation, or staff education

  • Experience with clinical chart review and performance improvement plans

  • Strong assessment, organizational, communication, and independent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to facilitate hands-on learning and provide meaningful coaching and feedback

  • Commitment to pediatric clients, families, field staff development, and safe care in the home setting

Preferred

  • Experience in pediatric home care or complex pediatric nursing care

  • Experience leading or supporting a skills lab, clinical simulation, or competency-validation program

  • Experience with utilization review, quality reporting, or clinical documentation systems
