Go deeper: In this role you will make an impact through the following responsibilities:
- Contribute to a bi-weekly newsletter exploring the biggest trends and news shaping the business of defense.
- Break news on venture capital, startups, mergers and acquisitions, public companies, defense procurement and the financial forces reshaping the industry.
- Help Axios readers understand how Pentagon priorities, procurement shifts and industrial policy influence investments and corporate strategy.
- Become our public authority on stage and elsewhere to help illuminate these important issues.

Starting salary for this role is in the range of $100,000 - $150,000 and is dependent on numerous factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, and skills. This range does not include other compensation benefits. Axios' compensation philosophy takes into account cost of labor differentials across the country. Because this is a remote-optional job posting, this salary range takes into account all possible locations within the United States, but candidates will only be eligible for the salary range for their location.
