Accounting Specialist (18-Month Fixed-Term Contract) 📍Łomianki, Poland

We're looking for an Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) to join our Finance team on an 18-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with process improvement and business collaboration.
In this role, you'll help ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, supporting everything from month-end close and statutory reporting to supplier payments and financial controls. You'll work closely with colleagues across the business while helping us maintain high standards of compliance, governance, and financial performance.
What you'll be doing
- Owning core accounting activities, ensuring accurate and compliant financial records
- Supporting month-end and year-end close processes, reporting, and statutory requirements
- Managing supplier payments, reconciliations, and customer account balances
- Preparing accounting documentation, tax-related information, and financial reports
- Working closely with Sales and other business functions to support day-to-day operations
- Collaborating with external accounting providers and ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline financial processes
- Helping ensure compliance with Polish accounting regulations, Group policies, and internal controls
What we're looking for
- Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a similar finance role
- Fluent Polish (essential) and good written and spoken English
- Good knowledge of Polish accounting regulations
- Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
- A highly organised and accurate approach, with strong attention to detail
- The ability to manage priorities and work independently while building strong relationships across the business
- Experience with IFS and/or Symfonia ERP systems would be an advantage
- Accounting or finance qualifications would be beneficial
