As a Senior QA Engineer at Somnio Software, you’ll make sure our products work well and also feel right for the people who use them. You’ll join a fast-moving product team on a complex platform with lots of workflows, and your main focus will be exploratory and user-centric testing rather than running test cases.
Your role will be dynamic and impactful. You’ll dig deep into the product, think like a user and an admin, and give the team clear, actionable insights that directly shape the product experience. This is not a test automation role. We’re looking for someone with critical thinking, depth and their own point of view.
We’re searching for #curious and #proactive minds to help us #continue building world-class digital experiences with innovative and modern technologies.
Run deep exploratory testing: take an area and go all the way into it, covering edge cases, friction points and inconsistencies.
Learn complex workflows and business rules well enough to think like an end user and like an admin.
Flag issues even when something “technically works” but the experience falls short, and defend your view with evidence.
Decide what to test in a product that changes all the time, focusing on the highest-impact areas instead of trying to cover everything.
Deliver actionable findings that state the problem, the impact on users, the evidence and a recommended priority, putting quality ahead of the number of bugs.
Mix exploratory testing, continuous validation and light regression as the product evolves.
Work directly with the client: ask questions, share progress, ask for feedback and be open about doubts or risks.
Our Perfect Match:
Solid senior-level experience in QA, with a strong focus on exploratory and user-centric testing.
Strong product sense and the ability to understand complex workflows, business rules and user goals.
Depth, curiosity and attention to detail: you’re not satisfied with surface-level testing.
A proactive attitude, your own opinions and the confidence to voice them with stakeholders.
Proven ability to work on your own in complex, changing products with little guidance.
Excellent communication skills in English (B2+ / C1) and comfort talking directly with clients.
Nice to Have:
Experience in startups or high-velocity product environments.
Background in UX or usability testing.
Experience working with admin-heavy or B2B SaaS platforms.
