We Do Consulting Differently Berkeley Research Group (BRG) is a global consulting firm that helps leading organisations advance in three principal areas: disputes and investigations, corporate finance, and performance improvement and advisory. More than 1,600 professionals work across over 40 offices worldwide. Our forensic teams bring together Economists, Certified Fraud Examiners, chartered accountants, forensic technologists, former regulators and former prosecutors. We are known for intellectual rigour, independence and work that stands up to scrutiny in boardrooms, courts and arbitral tribunals. The Opportunity We are establishing BRG's Forensic Investigations practice in APAC and the UK. This is a genuine build — a new team, with an established market, with the methodology, credentials and global network of an established international firm behind it, and without the constraints of a legacy structure. The practice focuses on connected disciplines: forensic accounting and fraud investigations, and forensic technology and eDiscovery. Our work typically arises where the facts are contested and the stakes are high — special investigations for supervisory boards and audit committees, allegations of financial misstatement, corruption and misappropriation, regulatory and criminal proceedings, and post-transaction disputes. The Senior Associate role is largely quantitative in nature and is best suited to those with some experience already. Your Responsibilities Support forensic analyses: preparing, cleansing and reconciling data from accounting and ERP systems. Review documents in eDiscovery platforms and apply the review protocol consistently. Research corporate registries, public filings and open sources, and summarise findings clearly. Prepare and maintain working papers, indices and evidence logs. Build exhibits, tables and charts for investigation reports. Assist with the logistical and organisational side of investigations — which, on a live matter, is a substantial contribution in its own right. Your Profile A degree in business administration, accounting, economics, finance, law, information systems, data science or a comparable subject. Internships or previous experience in audit, forensics, compliance, law or data analytics are welcome but not a prerequisite. Confident Excel skills. Any exposure to SQL, Python or R is a bonus. Meticulousness. In this work, the detail that seems irrelevant is often the one that matters. A discreet and professional manner — you will handle sensitive information from your first week. Fluent English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. What We Offer A structured onboarding programme and a mentor from your first day. Early exposure to real investigations rather than back-office support work. Funding and study leave for professional qualifications — ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivilent. A clearly defined path to Consultant with transparent criteria. Competitive starting salary, hybrid working and 30 days of annual leave About BRG BRG combines world-leading academic credentials with world-tested business expertise and purpose-built emerging technologies.
