We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Backend Engineer who knows their way around complex systems, thinks independently, and gets things done.
You'll help build and evolve the platform behind 200,000+ connected devices worldwide, with real ownership of your work and a say in technical decisions.

We use Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other AI tools to speed up development and cut down on repetitive work.
Who would thrive here
- Strong backend background - experience building and running production services, ideally with TypeScript / Node.js.
- Independent problem-solving - comfortable tackling complex problems and turning ideas into working solutions.
- Sound engineering judgment - a solid understanding of system design, reliability, and maintainability.
- Curiosity & initiative - someone who asks questions, challenges assumptions, and looks for better ways to do things.
- Fluent in Czech or Slovak, with communicative English.
Digital signage experience isn't strictly required. We're after strong engineering skills and people who know how to put them to work.

- Core backend services, primarily in TypeScript and Node.js
- Distributed systems and asynchronous communication between cloud services and HW
- Platform architecture and hardware abstraction across 60+ platforms
- Reliability, scalability, monitoring, and failure recovery
- Improving existing systems and helping shape technical decisions

Practical details
- Prague 6 - Evropská 11 (Blox Offices)
- Hybrid - minimum 3 days per week in the office, ideally more
- Reserved parking in the building garage
