Legal Assistant (Entry-Level) – Immigration Law Firm
Location: In-Office | New York City
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $45,000 – $52,000 annually
About the Role
We are seeking a Legal Assistant to support our team with administrative and case-related tasks. This is an entry-level, in-office position designed for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with preparation and filing of basic legal documents
- Organize and maintain case files (physical and digital)
- Support document collection and follow-ups with clients
- Perform data entry and administrative tasks
- Assist the team with general office support as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to follow structured processes and instructions
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, general systems)
- Clear and professional communication skills
- Ability to work on-site in NYC, Monday–Friday
Preferred
- 1 year of customer service or administrative experience
- Spanish fluency is a plus
Important Notes
- This is an entry-level position
- Responsibilities are primarily administrative and support-based
- There is no advancement opportunity within the first 12 months
