Your mission
You own the planning cycle and are Finance's main business partner for Sales and other departments. You build the models behind our decisions, explain performance to management and investors, and lead projects that make the company more data-driven and more efficient. What you will do:
- Planning and forecasting: own the annual budget and rolling forecasts end to end: timeline, driver-based model, alignment with budget holders, consolidation and sign-off.
- Financial modeling: build and maintain dynamic models for business cases, pricing, investments and scenarios; set modeling standards for the team.
- Management and investor reporting: prepare and present financial reports, variance analyses and Key Review packs for senior management and investors.
- Business partnering: work with Sales and other departments as their finance counterpart; translate numbers into recommendations they act on.
- Cost management, including sales cost: design and apply cost allocation methods (e.g., driver- or activity-based), set up cost control routines with budget holders and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Insight and storytelling: turn variance, KPI and cost-driver analysis into clear data-driven storylines for management, budget holders and investors.
- Project management: run medium-sized projects that improve data-driven decision-making or efficiency (e.g., planning-tool rollout, allocation model redesign, KPI framework), working closely with our Data Engineers.
- Coaching: review and develop the Junior Controller's work.

What success looks like
After 12 months, the budget and forecasts run on a driver-based model that budget holders trust and sign off on time. Management and investor packs explain not only what changed but why and what to do. Sales and department leads come to you before decisions, not after. You have led at least one improvement project to completion, and the Junior Controller is working independently on the monthly cycle.Meet your team
You will join the FP&A team at ProGlove: a small team that combines financial controlling with data engineering, so the numbers we report are the numbers the business runs on. We own our finance systems, data pipelines and BI reporting, and turning that data into planning, insight and decisions. We work as one team with two focuses. Data Engineering builds and runs the single source of truth; Controlling owns the financial logic on top of it: budgets, forecasts, business cases, KPI definitions and the story behind the numbers. Together we serve management, budget holders, the Sales team and our investors.
What it is like to work here:
- Close to the business. You partner directly with Sales and department leads, not only with Finance.
- Data-first. Self-service dashboards and a maintained Data Catalog mean less time copying numbers and more time explaining them.
- Small team, real ownership. You run your own processes and projects from day one, with a lead who coaches and reviews.
- Improving all the time. Every month we ask what we can automate, simplify or explain better.
