The Role
We are looking for a full-time Cook at our Midway, Utah location. This role focuses on preparing high-quality, consistent meals in bulk according to set recipes and portioning standards. The grab and go meals produced in our kitchen require attention to detail and self-motivation in order to keep up with the high demand. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well with others, and has a passion for delivering nutritious, great-tasting food.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare, cook, and portion meals according to standardized recipes and daily production lists
- Maintain consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all batches
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and allergen-handling procedures
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment (ovens, mixers, slicers, vacuum sealers, etc.)
- Weigh, measure, and label ingredients for accurate inventory control.
- Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating food stock
- Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and storage areas at the end of each shift
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to meet daily and weekly production goals
What You’ll Need
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen, catering, or meal prep environment preferred
- A valid Utah Food Handlers Permit is required.
- Strong understanding of food safety and handling standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently with large batch production
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
About the Opportunity
- This is a full-time position
- This position is on-site, requiring all hours to be performed in the kitchen in Midway and/or Kamas, Utah
- Kitchen hours are from 8:30am to 6:30pm, Tuesday through Saturday, with individual schedules determined by the Sous Chef.
