What You'll Actually Do
Forget the standard job description bullets. Here's the real shape of the role:
Own the branch. You'll be accountable for Kingman's results: revenue, profitability, customer satisfaction, safety, and quality. The numbers matter, and you'll be the one driving the team toward them.
Lead, coach, and develop your team. One-on-ones, ride-alongs, real training. The people who report to you should be measurably better six months after you start than they are today.
Build the culture. You set the tone for how the branch shows up every day. You'll build a culture of ownership, accountability, and real customer care.
Take care of customers. When something goes sideways, you're the one who makes it right, quickly and professionally.
Build the team. Recruit, hire, and keep great people. You'll always be thinking about who's next and who's ready to grow.
Partner across the company. Kingman doesn't work in a vacuum. You'll work closely with our call center, dispatch, warehouse, and leadership team in Lake Havasu so the branch runs smoothly and grows.
Be the face of Air Control in Kingman. Get involved in the community and help the branch become the name people trust.
Tell the story with data. You'll know your KPIs cold, present them to leadership regularly, and turn the numbers into a clear plan for what's working, what's not, and what's changing.
Plan ahead. Anticipate seasonal spikes and staffing needs so the team is set up to win, not scrambling to keep up.
Who You Are
We're looking for a specific kind of leader. If most of this sounds like you, we should talk:
- You've led a team before, and you loved it. Leadership experience is what matters most. We're open to great leaders from service management, sales, operations, or similar roles.
- Trade experience is a plus, not a must. If you've worked in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical, great. If not, we'll teach you the trade side.
- You've got a track record of results. You can point to specific numbers that got better because you were in the seat.
- You build people. You see coaching as one of the most important parts of the job, not a chore.
- You're a self-starter with a "figure it out" attitude. You're comfortable in the gray and you move fast when something needs solving.
- You communicate well, with everyone. You can calm down a frustrated customer, coach a struggling tech, and present to leadership with equal confidence.
- You're organized and detail-oriented. You can juggle multiple priorities without dropping the ball.
- You're tech-savvy. Comfortable with Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Bonus if you've worked in ServiceTitan and AI.
