Actemium, part of VINCI Energies, delivers engineering and automation solutions to customers across a range of industries. We are looking for a proactive and organised HR Officer to support our team in Huddersfield on a part-time basis.
Working closely with managers and colleagues, you will provide practical HR support across the employee lifecycle, help maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day HR administration and support to employees and managers.
Support recruitment activities, including assisting with onboarding.
Prepare and maintain employment documentation, ensuring records are accurate, complete and handled confidentially.
Support absence, holiday and employee lifecycle administration.
Assist managers with HR processes and provide guidance on company policies and procedures.
Help coordinate inductions, training and employee development activities.
Maintain HR systems and personnel files, producing reports and information as required.
Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
Handle sensitive information with discretion and in line with data protection requirements.
Contribute to the review and improvement of HR processes and documentation.
About You
We are looking for someone who is approachable, detail-oriented and able to manage a varied workload. You will be comfortable communicating with colleagues at all levels and handling confidential information professionally.
Ideally, you will have:
Experience in an HR administration or HR support role.
A good understanding of HR processes and employment documentation.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and HR systems or databases.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
A confidential, professional and approachable manner.
A relevant HR qualification, such as CIPD Level 5, or a willingness to work towards one.
