We're looking for a Social Media Manager who brings creativity, understands the power of representation and inclusivity, and knows how to turn inspiring content into meaningful connections with our community.
You'll be at the heart of PENN. Penningtons' social media presence, with the freedom to bring bold ideas to life, tell authentic stories and shape how we connect with our customers.
From spotting emerging trends to creating content that inspires confidence and celebrates every body, you'll help elevate our brand and build a community where everyone feels seen, represented and valued.
This role is for someone who thinks strategically, thrives on creativity and understands that a strong community is built on much more than likes and follower counts.
What You'll Do
- Bring our brand to life. Develop and evolve PENN. Penningtons' social media strategy, content pillars and brand voice to create a distinctive, inclusive and inspiring presence.
- Create content that stands out. Turn trends, creative ideas and community stories into compelling content, short-form videos and engaging posts that celebrate style, confidence and self-expression.
- Build a community that connects. Spark conversations, foster authentic engagement and create a space where our customers feel heard, represented and proud to be part of the PENN. Penningtons community.
- Stay ahead of what's next. Keep a pulse on fashion trends, cultural movements, content creators and emerging platforms to identify opportunities that resonate with our audience.
- Turn insights into impact. Analyze performance, experiment with new approaches and optimize content and paid social investments to grow reach, engagement and our community.
- Bring ideas to life together. Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, E-commerce, Public Relations and Media teams to deliver cohesive, inclusive and impactful campaigns.
What You Bring
- Proven experience developing social media strategies and building engaged communities, ideally within fashion, lifestyle or consumer brands.
- A strong creative instinct, natural storytelling ability and a talent for bringing a brand's personality to life through words and visuals.
- A genuine appreciation for body diversity, representation and inclusivity, and an understanding of how these values translate into meaningful content.
- Confidence using AI and emerging creative tools to work smarter, accelerate content creation and push creative boundaries.
- Hands-on experience creating social-first content, particularly short-form video for Instagram, TikTok and emerging platforms.
- A strong understanding of digital trends, algorithms, audience behaviours and the creator landscape.
- An analytical mindset, with the ability to turn data, insights and experimentation into actionable strategies and measurable results.
- A curious, resourceful and collaborative personality, with the confidence to bring bold ideas forward and make them happen.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and French, written and spoken.
