About us

statworx is a leading Data & AI Consulting and Development company in the DACH region. For more than a decade, we have been helping organizations succeed with consulting, development, and training – delivering over 1,000 successful projects for more than 100 clients across nearly every industry.

From AI strategy to implementation, we develop innovative solutions. With expertise in AI Strategy, Generative AI, Agentic AI, Data & AI Engineering, and AI Infrastructure, we support organizations throughout their entire AI transformation journey.
Our goal: Creating value from Data & AI.

Our AI Development department acts as a catalyst for data and AI transformation. We take a holistic approach that spans the entire journey — from assessing AI maturity to designing, developing, and scaling end-to-end data and AI solutions.

Your tasks

Focus: Data lakehouse & warehouse solution, architecture, data models
  • Develop modern and scalable data architectures (data warehouses, data lakes, lakehouses) and design high-performing data models for analytics, ML, and AI use cases
  • Advise clients on technologies, platforms, and best practices, translating technical concepts into clear, understandable recommendations for both business and management stakeholders
  • Integrate structured and unstructured data sources, implement robust ETL/ELT processes, and ensure high data quality throughout the pipeline
  • Build cloud and on-premises data infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP) using Infrastructure-as-Code, automated deployment processes, and monitoring systems
  • Consider data governance, privacy, and security requirements along the entire data value chain
  • Depending on the project, support modern AI applications (e.g., vector databases, embeddings, RAG) by designing the appropriate data pipelines and infrastructure
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, fostering a collaborative culture of knowledge sharing and teamwork
  • Actively share your expertise — for example through workshops, technical blog posts, or presentations at internal events

Your profile

  • You have successfully completed a Master’s degree, ideally in (Business) Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable field
  • You have at least five years of relevant professional experience in Data Engineering or Data Architecture.
  • You possess strong skills in SQL, Python, and Bash/Shell, and have experience developing efficient and maintainable data pipelines
  • You have a solid understanding of modern data architectures and experience in data modeling as well as ETL/ELT processes
  • You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), distributed systems (e.g., Spark, Kafka), and modern data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake)
  • You are familiar with data governance, data protection (e.g., GDPR), and security requirements in cloud environments
  • Ideally, you have experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD workflows.
  • Experience with LLM-related data architectures (vector databases, embeddings, RAG) is a plus.
  • You are able to lead technical discussions and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels — including non-technical audiences
  • You take ownership of your work and approach challenges with a structured, detail-oriented mindset.
  • You are fluent in English (spoken and written) and have advanced German skills (B2 or higher), or you are willing to further improve them

Our offer

  • Data & AI at the core: Work on diverse and challenging projects with leading clients across various industries – from data-driven solutions to innovative AI applications
  • Professional variety & growth: Tackle complex, multifaceted questions and continuously expand your expertise in your field as well as in the broader Data & AI landscape
  • Continuous development: We support your methodological, professional, and personal growth through regular feedback, tailored learning opportunities, training formats, and our mentoring program
  • Culture & collaboration: You’ll be part of an open, diverse, and respectful work environment with flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and a strong sense of team spirit
  • Modern ways of working: We embrace an iterative, modern work culture based on clear communication, ownership, and room for new ideas and creative freedom
  • Transparent compensation: We offer fair, structured, and transparent salary bands that are regularly reviewed and aligned with market and performance developments
  • Flexible work setup: Our modern Frankfurt office serves as your main workplace – while giving you the flexibility to work remotely on a regular basis and up to four weeks per year from within the EU
  • Mobility & well-being: Benefit from a subsidized Germany Ticket and discounted access to sports and wellness offerings through Wellpass
  • Equipment & extras: High-quality IT equipment (e.g., MacBook Pro), regular team events, childcare support, and attractive employee discounts complete your package
