Data Platform Engineer (Infrastructure & Integrations).

DATA & ML

Yapily is on a mission to enable innovative companies to create better and fairer financial services for everyone, through the power of open banking.

Within this mission, our finance team plays a pivotal role in fostering Yapily’s expansion while ensuring financial well-being. Renowned for our ability to tackle numerous responsibilities with aplomb while fostering a dynamic and enjoyable team culture, we are now looking for a skilled Management Accountant to join our ranks and contribute to our ongoing success.

This is a mid-to-senior level role perfect for an experienced engineer who thrives at the intersection of core data infrastructure and complex FinTech ecosystem integrations.

You will own the evolution of our high-performance data pipelines, ledger reporting, and critical business system integrations. This role offers a front-row seat to evolving Yapily's GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Databricks stack, empowering our engineering and finance teams to transform raw transactional data into highly secure, compliant, and actionable value.

  • FinTech Tooling & Integrations: Drive the Proof of Concept (POC) and full implementation of our corporate Transaction Fraud Monitoring Tool, ensuring automated flows across systems.
  • Salesforce & Ecosystem Engineering: Architect and build production-grade, secure connectors from Salesforce to the Transaction Monitoring tool, and lead the integration of our Know Your Business (KYB) tools directly into Salesforce to automate onboarding.

  • Ledger & Activity Reporting: Design and maintain scalable, high-fidelity data pipelines to power Ledger and Activity Reporting within an event-driven architecture.
  • Database & Cloud Operations: Manage high-volume financial data utilizing SQL, NoSQL, and GCP services (such as Pub/Sub, PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage), ensuring optimal schema design and cost-efficient query performance.
  • Cross-functional Technical Leadership: Partner closely with Finance, Compliance, and Core Engineering teams to translate complex business workflows into robust technical solutions.

What You Bring

  • Cloud Infrastructure: Proven experience working inside a major cloud provider ecosystem, ideally GCP (BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage) or equivalent AWS/Azure components.
  • Problem-Solving & Autonomy: An architectural mindset with the ability to independently evaluate vendor tools, build robust POCs, and own technical roadmaps from conception to deployment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
