DATA & ML
XPENG is a leading smart technology company at the forefront of innovation, integrating advanced AI and autonomous driving technologies into its vehicles, including electric vehicles (EVs), electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, and robotics. With a strong focus on intelligent mobility, XPENG is dedicated to reshaping the future of transportation through cutting-edge R&D in AI, machine learning, and smart connectivity.

Position Objective & Summary
To serve as the strategic operational bridge between Corporate Headquarters and the authorized Dealer Network, functioning as the brand's frontline "eyes, ears, and voice" in the field. This role ensures that dealership operations align seamlessly with corporate expectations, quality standards, and customer experience objectives through regular field auditing, live coaching, and performance monitoring.

Additionally, the position is responsible for designing, developing, and hosting highly visual, dynamic training materials—including manuals, interactive presentations, and quick on-camera video tutorials—to empower dealer staff. This is a highly commercial, behavioral, and customer-centric role that requires an outstanding "people person" profile, excellent communication skills, high resilience, and an authentic passion for the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Auditing & Compliance: conduct regular, structured on-site evaluations at dealership locations to audit operational processes, commercial compliance, product & brand knowledge and Customer Experience (CX) corporate standards.
  • On-Site Training & Coaching: act as a field coach and facilitator for dealer staff. Deliver real-time feedback, guide commercial teams on best practices, and support the implementation of sales and service behavioural frameworks.
  • Content & Material Development: design, structure, and update highly visual and pedagogical training assets, including operational manuals, interactive presentations, training guides, and field support documentation.
  • Digital Media & Video Content Creation: develop and host engaging, fast-paced multimedia training materials. This includes creating video tutorials, product walkthroughs, and step-by-step process explainers, requiring high comfort and fluidity performing on-camera.
  • Performance Analytics & Continuous Improvement: analyse field KPIs, dealer performance scorecards, and customer feedback data. Identify operational bottlenecks and collaborate with dealer management to design, deploy, and monitor tailored Action and Improvement Plans.
  • Cross-Functional Synergy: consolidate field insights to share with the broader Network Development team, contributing to the standardisation of best practices across all dealer cohorts.

Candidate Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in an automotive OEM is preferred but not required. Early corporate experience or a strong internship track record in customer-facing roles, commercial execution, field auditing, or corporate training environments is highly valued.
  • Languages: Advanced English proficiency at a business level is required to effectively communicate with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel frequently to dealership locations.
  • Automotive Interest & Knowledge: Deep, authentic passion for the automotive industry and modern mobility trends, with a solid understanding of modern vehicle functionalities, advanced user features, infotainment ecosystems, and powertrain technologies.
  • Additional training or certifications related to product or the automotive industry are desirable but not required.

Prefer to Have (The Ideal Profile)

  • Automotive & Commercial Acumen: Strong interest in and understanding of the automotive industry, vehicle products, dealership operations, and customer-facing commercial activities.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage, coach, influence, and build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Training, Content & Digital Skills: Strong capability in training and content development, including presentations, manuals, visual materials, and multimedia content, with confidence communicating on camera.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Comfortable working with data, reports, and KPIs to identify issues and translate insights into practical improvement actions.
  • Organization & Execution: Highly organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple priorities and field activities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Resilience & Professionalism: Adaptable, resilient, and diplomatic when providing feedback, addressing performance gaps, and working closely with dealership teams.
