- Manage and oversee the school’s day-to-day accounting and financial operations.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards and school policies.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash management, and bank reconciliations.
- Manage the school’s monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
- Prepare and review financial reports, management accounts, and financial analysis for school leadership.
- Monitor the school’s budgets, expenses, and cash flow to ensure effective financial control.
- Ensure timely collection of tuition fees and other receivables, following up on outstanding balances when required.
- Review and approve payments, invoices, purchase orders, and supporting financial documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management, preferably within a school or educational organization.
- Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics.
