We are seeking motivated fresh graduates or early-career professionals passionate about cybersecurity to join our Crowdsourced Vulnerability Discovery Programme (CVDP) triage team on a contract basis. This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vulnerability assessment and management whilst working with government systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop expertise in assessing and validating incoming vulnerability reports from security researchers, working closely with senior team members to determine severity and impact
- Contribute to triage and root cause analysis of vulnerabilities under the guidance of experienced team members
- Document findings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
- Analyse vulnerability trends and patterns within systems
- Support the maintenance and development of APIs for integrating bug bounty platform, JIRA, and other external systems under supervision
- Assist with data cleansing processes and develop scripts for data transformation, gaining practical experience in data quality management
Requirements
- OSCP certification or programming experience will be advantageous
- Recent graduate with a diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or related technical field
- Internship experience in IT security, software development, or related field (advantageous)
- Required Skills
- Fundamental understanding of web application security and common vulnerabilities (OWASP)
- Knowledge of programming concepts and basic scripting capabilities
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration abilities
- Basic understanding of API concepts and system integration
- Positive attitude and collaborative team spirit
