The position requires an individual to join our EMEA Corporate Tax team to deliver high-quality output, whilst managing a portfolio of deliverables, along with an ability to interpret and apply technical rules and regulations. The team is seeking an experienced individual with a strong tax skillset who will hold the responsibility for tax reporting and compliance for the EMEA region with a strong focus on the UK.
What You’ll Do
- Manage compliance, forecasting and provisioning for tax reporting within the UK and EMEA region.
- Calculate corporate income tax and deferred tax accounting entries.
- Overseeing the preparing of tax disclosures in financial statements
- Reviewing the calculation of effective tax rates for IFRS and GAAP reporting
- Manage corporate income tax return submissions and regulatory audit responses.
- Collaborate across tax, finance and wider teams to deliver projects and manage risk.
- Support and coach staff through technical and non-technical training.
- Drive process improvements, automation and stakeholder engagement while supporting wider reporting needs.
What You Bring
- Fully qualified tax or accounting professional (CTA / CA / ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
- 5 to 7 years’ experience in a similar tax related role
- Corporate tax experience is essential (Ideally UK corporate tax)
- Strong tax reporting and compliance experience.
- Experience preparing and submitting tax returns.
- Exposure to financial statement tax disclosures.
- Experience with Oracle TRCS would be nice to have
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is highly advantageous.
