Technical Project Manager.

FULL TIMEHYBRIDLEADPRODUCT

We're seeking a Technical Project Delivery Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of projects within a designated business domain. Working in close partnership with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Architecture, Engineering, and Business colleagues, you'll drive domain projects and contribute to continuously improving delivery practices.

You'll primarily focus within your domain, managing dependencies, producing clear stakeholder reporting, and resolving issues at project level - escalating to your Programme Manager where needed. You'll flex across agile, waterfall, and hybrid approaches as context requires.

What you'll be doing:

Project Delivery Leadership

  • Define delivery plans, milestones, success criteria, and execution plans aligned to user needs
  • Develop business cases; create and maintain cost plans
  • Manage scope, schedule, and budget; monitor progress and initiate corrective action
  • Ensure adherence to agreed methodology and value tracking practices

Agile Facilitation & Scrum Practice

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, demos)
  • Work with Product Managers to ensure epics and user stories are well-articulated and prioritised
  • Track and communicate delivery progress using metrics, weekly reporting, and monthly MBR updates
  • Champion iterative delivery, lean/agile practices, and continuous improvement

Delivery Ownership

  • Lead end-to-end delivery for assigned projects; orchestrate value within feasibility constraints
  • Lead project inceptions and ensure delivery artefacts are maintained and accessible

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Serve as primary interface for stakeholders across business, technology, product, and design
  • Ensure alignment and transparency through structured communication
  • Manage and resolve conflicting priorities at project level; escalate where support is needed

RAID Management & Governance

  • Identify and manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies for assigned projects
  • Drive risk mitigation with teams; escalate to prevent risks materialising
  • Collaborate with peers and Programme Managers on cross-domain dependencies

Team Leadership & Facilitation

  • May matrix-manage delivery team members; build collaborative, high-trust environments
  • Facilitate workshops and problem-solving sessions to unblock teams
  • Ensure knowledge transfer into the domain following successful delivery
  • Seek relevant resources; escalate where availability affects delivery

Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Champion iterative delivery and continuous improvement within projects and teams
  • Ensure epics and stories are effectively articulated, refined, and managed
  • Contribute to delivery practice maturity across the broader community

What we're looking for:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering software projects in dynamic agile environments
  • Experience successfully delivering projects across the full delivery lifecycle
  • Working knowledge of agile/scrum frameworks and ceremonies
  • Experience contributing to project governance: scope, schedule, budget, RAID, and reporting
  • Experience in effective change management using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Familiarity with project tracking tools (Jira, Confluence, Kanban boards)
  • Able to build team trust, encourage collaboration, and facilitate problem-solving
  • Clear and confident communicator with stakeholders at varying levels
  • Commercial awareness and customer focus
  • Positive approach to problem-solving and overcoming obstacles
  • Situational awareness with ability to escalate promptly
  • Understanding of software development processes and iterative delivery

The following experience is also desirable:

  • Formal accreditation (PRINCE2, AgilePM, CSM, PSM)
  • Experience facilitating project inceptions or discovery phases
  • Familiarity with academic publishing or digital content workflows
  • Experience with distributed or third-party development teams

You must have the right to work and live in India.
