Key Contributions
- Support the creation of 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD tools such as Creo, NX, and Inventor to meet project requirements.
- Assist in the design and development of machinery parts and machine assemblies under guidance from senior engineers.
- Contribute to design modifications and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) to improve functionality, quality.
- Support project teams by following defined quality processes and maintaining accurate engineering documentation.
Learning & Development Opportunities
- Gain hands-on experience with industrial CAD tools and mechanical design standards.
- Learn practical aspects of machine design, tolerancing, and design-for-manufacturing.
- Understand and apply engineering change management and configuration control processes.
- Develop awareness of project quality systems, documentation practices, and compliance requirements in an engineering environment.
- Final-year or senior student in Mechanical/ Mechatronics, Computational Engineering or relevant background
- Available for a 6-month full-time internship (Monday to Friday)
- Able to provide a university recommendation or introduction letter for the internship
- Good English communication skills
- Knowledge of mechanical drawing, Geometric dimension & tolerance, manufacturing process
- Proficient in CAD design tools, including PTC Creo, NX, AutoCAD, Inventor, and SolidWorks, for mechanical design tasks
