Main objective of the job:
- Provides technical leadership and support for Team Connectivity within the Manufacturing Electronics environment, ensuring the reliable operation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of production-critical data pipelines and related IT infrastructure, while coordinating technical activities and contributing to service quality improvements.
Main attributions and responsibilities:
- Monitor the IT infrastructure and the distributed environments via monitoring tools
- Define, configure and maintain the monitoring IT Landscape;
- Install and configure IT applications on production machines;
- Ensures the stable operation, troubleshooting and continuous improvement of production-critical data pipelines;
- Manages, maintains and optimizes CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices;
- Supports the operation and troubleshooting of Linux-based infrastructure and containerized environments;
- Provides technical guidance regarding application deployment, infrastructure, automation and operational topics;
- Develop specific scripts for the modular monitoring system according to the customer’s requirements or the team’s necessity;
- Actively participating in workshops with the client;
- Proactively reviewing, adapting and creating new IT solutions individually or together with the client;
- Participating in multicultural workshops and conferences;
- Evaluating the new colleagues after the initial trainings (through testing);
- Periodically evaluating the team members’ performance from a technical point of view (through testing);
- Ensures the fulfillment of the daily activities according to the job description, work instructions and specific job requirements;
- Interactive coaching (hands-on coaching), coaching (scorecard);
- Organizes, creates, reviews, maintains and delivers training materials and internal reports;
- Efficiently plans and coordinates the daily activities;
- Updates and maintains the knowledge base, documents and informs the team about solutions, updates and maintains the databases;
- Offers technical support about the service processes to the team members, on a daily basis;
- Ensures the quality of the service processes and the knowledge and information transfer;
- Offers assistance to the evaluators in the quality process of performance evaluation, together with and under the supervision of the direct superior;
- Offers support in organizing the integration process for the new hires and participates in the specific activities required for this process;
- Is the contact person for any enquiries from the team members, regarding the daily activities (administrative topics excluded);
- Collaborates with the quality department and other internal departments in order to prepare the training materials;
- Takes technical ownership of complex and critical incidents, coordinates troubleshooting activities and supports the team in identifying and implementing appropriate technical solutions;
- Identifies situations that might affect the quality of the service delivery and proposes improvement measures;
- Identifies the training needs of the team members and proposes specific training programs (both internally and externally) to the direct superior;
- Collaborates with HR department in recruitment process for TC team;
- Creates and checks the work instructions;
- Reads, understands and applies the procedures from area of responsibility and other interdepartmental procedures, applicable within the company;
Studies:
- University studies in IT or a related domain
Knowledge and Skills:
- Language: English – B2 level or above;
- Technical Leadership: Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a technical leadership role, including technical guidance, coordination and mentoring;
- Linux / RHEL: Strong knowledge of Linux environments, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), including administration, troubleshooting and application operations;
- DevOps & Automation: Hands-on experience with CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Ansible, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, K3S, Helm, ArgoCD and GitOps principles;
- Container Orchestration: Experience with Kubernetes and K3S environments, including containerized workloads, deployments, configuration, troubleshooting and operational concepts;
- Data Pipelines: Experience in operating, monitoring and troubleshooting production-critical data pipelines and distributed data processing environments;
- Monitoring & Observability: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Grafana Alloy, VictoriaMetrics and ELK/Kibana, including dashboards, alerting and log analysis;
- Messaging Technologies: Working knowledge of Solace and/or Kafka;
- Programming, Scripting & Configuration: Working knowledge of Java for application and data pipeline troubleshooting, together with experience in Python, Ansible, YAML and Helm;
- Architecture & Infrastructure: Knowledge of microservices, containerization, networking, routing, load balancers, firewalls and security concepts;
- Databases: Basic knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL;
- Stakeholder Management: Experience collaborating with Development, Infrastructure, Security, Project, Plant and Management teams;
- People & Technical Leadership: Experience with task delegation, mentoring, coaching, technical interviews and performance evaluation;
- Good communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Structured, proactive and self-dependent, with the ability to prioritize activities and support technical decision-making.
