At BakerHicks, our Surveying teams play a vital role in supporting complex infrastructure and engineering projects across secure, technically challenging environments. We are looking for a Land Surveyor to join our collaborative team, where you'll have the opportunity to develop your expertise, work with industry-leading technology and contribute to meaningful projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining fieldwork with technical problem-solving and values working within a supportive team where knowledge sharing, continuous learning and professional development are encouraged.

What you'll be doing

  • Undertaking land, topographical and measured building surveys across a variety of project environments.
  • Collecting, processing and validating survey data using modern surveying equipment and software.
  • Producing accurate, high-quality survey deliverables and drawings.
  • Supporting GIS and project teams by providing reliable survey information and technical expertise.
  • Reviewing survey data against project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Working closely with colleagues, clients and stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Contributing ideas that improve processes, technology adoption and ways of working.

What we're looking for

We're keen to hear from people who are collaborative, detail-oriented and passionate about delivering quality work.

  • Experience undertaking land, topographical or measured building surveys.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and N4CE
  • Experience working with survey data and producing survey outputs.
  • Understanding of modern surveying equipment and techniques

What to expect

This is a hands-on role where approximately 70-80% of your time will be spent on site collecting survey data and supporting project activities. The remaining time will be spent collaborating with colleagues, processing data and delivering project outputs.
