GeoStabilization International

Williamstown, KY

Construction Warehouse & Logistics Technician.

DEVOPS & INFRA

GeoStabilization International (GSI), Access Limited, and RoadGuard together form a leading infrastructure solutions platform dedicated to protecting people and strengthening critical infrastructure across North America and New Zealand.

GSI is the premier geohazard mitigation firm specializing in emergency slope stabilization, landslide repair, grouting, and micropiles through innovative design-build delivery. Access Limited brings over a century of steep-slope expertise and operates North America’s largest fleet of spider excavators, delivering complex rockfall and geotechnical solutions in the most challenging environments. RoadGuard, founded in 2024, unites industry-leading roadway safety companies providing guardrail, bridge railing, highway signage, fencing, and specialty fabrication services.

Across all our businesses, we are driven by innovation, extreme ownership, technical excellence, and a relentless commitment to measurable results that improve safety and infrastructure resilience.

About the Role

More Than a Warehouse Job

As our Warehouse Technician, you'll play a crucial role in connecting our field teams to success. This isn't a position where you just punch a clock—it's where you directly impact whether our teams can respond to an emergency landslide or whether a critical project gets the materials it needs to crush its timeline.

Help our construction crews get the right materials for the job. In this role, you'll receive, identify, organize, and prepare construction materials, tools, and supplies for field projects.

Accuracy involves more than matching a label or counting boxes. You'll learn the differences between materials, understand what crews are requesting, and know when to ask questions before an order goes out. Your work helps ensure crews arrive prepared with the supplies they need.

Experience in construction, a contractor supply yard, building materials, or a similar environment translates well to this position. We'll train you on our specific materials, equipment, and processes.

Why This Role

You're Not Just Filling a Slot

When GSI hires you, we're betting on your potential. We don't hire technicians and expect them to stay technicians. The best people in our warehouse have gone on to supervise teams and work in field operations. This role is your launch pad.

Why Choose GSI

You'll Work in a Culture Built for Excellence

  • Fast-paced and un-corporate: No politics. No bureaucracy. Just driven people solving hard problems.
  • Family-oriented: We genuinely invest in our people's success, professionally and personally.
  • Mission-driven: Every day, you're part of protecting infrastructure and saving lives.
  • Gritty and real: We're not afraid to get our hands dirty, and we respect people who do the same.

Two Paths Forward

We're not a one-size-fits-all operation. We have two distinct opportunities within this Warehouse Technician role, and we're looking to fill both because we believe in growing talent at every level.

Whether you're starting fresh or bringing seasoned inventory experience, there's a path here for you.

If you're motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn the ins and outs of construction materials and our warehouse operation, we want to invest in you. That's our Entry-Level opportunity.

If you're already solid with inventory systems, material management, and you're ready to level up by mastering the technical side of specialized materials like casing and compaction products, that's our Experienced opportunity.

Both roles offer the same mission-driven culture, the same opportunity to impact real projects, and the same path to growth.

Warehouse Technician – Entry-Level

The Right Fit For This Role

You've got the right attitude, the hunger to learn, and you genuinely care about being part of a team. Construction or warehouse experience is a plus, but what matters most is your willingness to jump in, ask questions, and grow with us.

What You'll Do

  • Learn to identify construction materials, tools, and supplies and understand how they support field projects.
  • Review material requests and pull the correct items and quantities, clarifying anything unfamiliar or unclear.
  • Check incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
  • Organize materials so they can be located, counted, and prepared efficiently.
  • Pick, pack, and stage materials for outgoing shipments.
  • Identify and report damaged materials, shortages, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in inventory counts.
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment after training.
  • Keep storage and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager and other teams to meet project needs and deadlines.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Attention to detail and a willingness to learn construction materials and terminology.
  • Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities.
  • Dependability, follow-through, and the confidence to ask questions when something doesn't look right.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and manage changing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn inventory systems and handheld scanners.
  • Construction or building-materials experience is preferred, but relevant backgrounds may include construction labor, contractor supply, lumber or building-material yards, equipment yards, and warehouse work. Prior warehouse experience is not required—attitude and willingness to learn are what count most.

Warehouse Technician – Experienced

The Right Fit For This Role

You've got solid inventory experience and you're ready to go deeper. We're looking for someone who can not only manage materials but also master the technical side—understanding casing and compaction materials and the specific applications our teams depend on. You're someone who already thinks like a technician and is ready to bring that expertise to our operation.

What You'll Do

  • Identify and manage construction materials, tools, and supplies with deep knowledge of inventory systems and material specifications.
  • Review material requests and pull the correct items and quantities, with the expertise to advise on material selection and technical applications.
  • Check incoming shipments and packing slips with rigorous accuracy.
  • Organize and maintain material systems for efficient location, counting, and preparation.
  • Pick, pack, and stage materials for outgoing shipments with technical precision.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of casing and compaction materials, including their properties, applications, and handling requirements.
  • Identify and report damaged materials, shortages, and inventory discrepancies with technical context.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, manage inventory counts, and troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Keep storage and work areas clean, organized, and safe.
  • Work with the Warehouse Manager and field teams to anticipate needs, solve problems, and meet project deadlines.
  • Serve as a resource to less experienced team members on material specifications and warehouse processes.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven inventory management experience in construction, building materials, or a similar specialized warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and deep knowledge of construction materials and terminology.
  • Solid math skills for counting, measuring, verifying quantities, and managing inventory.
  • Demonstrated dependability, follow-through, and sound judgment.
  • Ability to learn and apply technical knowledge of casing and compaction materials.
  • Proficiency with inventory systems and handheld scanners.
  • Experience with material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Training Provided

  • Identification and handling of our construction materials (entry-level and technical deep-dives for experienced hire).
  • Inventory systems, order preparation, and warehouse procedures.
  • Technical training on casing and compaction materials (especially for the experienced role).
  • Forklift training within 30 days of hire.
