The Lumber Manufactory (TLM) is building the future of sustainable lumber with next-generation sawmill technology. What you'll do
Operate sawmill machinery, including saws, conveyors, and sorting systems
Feed and align logs, and adjust settings to keep production running smoothly
Check logs and lumber for quality as they move through the line
Handle routine upkeep and minor fixes, and report bigger issues to maintenance
Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout every time
What we're looking for
Experience running industrial, manufacturing, or sawmill equipment is a plus
Mechanical aptitude and a knack for troubleshooting
Attention to detail and comfort in a fast-paced, physical environment
Dependable attendance and reliable transportation to the mill
Able to pass a background check
Schedule and pay: Full-time. Multiple shifts available, including days. We'll talk through what works for you during your interview. Starting pay $16+/hr. Training and certification provided.
Location: On site at our mill in New Albany, Mississippi.
We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including:
100% employer-paid health coverage for employees and dependents (medical, dental, and vision)
100% employer-paid life insurance and disability coverage
Paid time off and company holidays
The opportunity to help build something from the ground up in an essential, evolving industry
