Our founders (ex-Apple, Bluevine; ex-Affirm, Square, Google) are Stanford alumni who have scaled multi-billion-dollar underwriting platforms from scratch. We bring expertise in energy, complex systems, computational science, and structured finance.

What we're building
We are building a next-generation clearinghouse designed to unlock capital efficiency and enable the electrification of everything.
At the core of our system is a proprietary underwriting and risk platform that combines advanced power market modeling, structured finance underwriting, and AI-driven risk assessment.
We price, structure, and secure power risks in ways traditional providers cannot.
The role
We're looking for an exceptional finance professional to lead the underwriting, structuring, and execution of our deal pipeline as we scale our platform. You’ll structure transactions across our target sectors, utility scale renewable energy, energy storage, and digital infrastructure, covering the core risks in power finance.
In this position, you'll play a decisive role in Comity’s growth trajectory. Key responsibilities include:
Financial Modeling and Underwriting. Build and maintain the financial models at the center of each transaction to support our underwriting.
Due Diligence. Run diligence across the financial, technical, legal, and environmental dimensions of each transaction.
Transaction Execution. Drive deals through structuring, negotiation, and documentation to close.
Client Management. Act as a trusted point of contact for our clients and counterparties, building durable relationships and positioning our solutions in the market.
Market Research and Strategy. Stay close to the developments shaping power and infrastructure finance, and feed them back into how we structure and price what we offer.
We're excited about you because
You have hands-on finance experience in the space. 5+ years across project finance, investment banking, private equity, and/or infrastructure investing, analyzing, structuring, and executing complex transactions in renewable energy and/or digital infrastructure.
You're relentless. You take on more and more and have a knack for finding your way around the complex problems the financial world throws at you. You're creative where others get stuck.
You're deeply analytical. You're fluent in complex financial models and think naturally in terms of downside cases, risk allocation, and structural mitigants. Credit analysis skills are a plus.
You're excited to build. You want to help build the financial platform for the electric age, and to develop the tools and approaches that come with it.
You're a strong communicator with executive presence. You explain complexity with clarity and conviction and are comfortable engaging directly with senior counterparties.
You're technology-forward. You're energized by using and shaping technology to sharpen underwriting judgment and scale your impact.
You operate with high ownership and low ego. You elevate the teams around you and care about the outcome more than the credit.
Compensation: In addition to salary, this role is eligible for an on-target bonus of up to 100% of base salary.
