As the Marketing Intern, you will work directly with the Director of Marketing and Partnerships to support internal marketing initiatives, communications, and marketing operations. This position provides hands-on experience in a professional business environment while assisting with content creation, event preparation, CRM management, and a variety of marketing projects that support the organization's growth and engagement efforts.
As the Marketing Intern, you will:
- Create graphics, presentations, and marketing materials using Canva and PowerPoint.
- Assist with internal communications and employee engagement content.
- Organize and maintain marketing assets, photos, videos, and digital files.
- Edit short videos for internal communications and social media.
- Support conference and event preparation, including promotional materials and logistics.
- Assist with HubSpot CRM updates, email marketing campaigns, contact management, and marketing reporting.
- Conduct market research and compile findings to support marketing initiatives for local chambers.
- Assist with website content updates and proofreading marketing materials.
- Track marketing activities and prepare basic reports.
- Provide administrative support for marketing projects and special initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Current enrollment in, or recent completion of, a degree program in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM through coursework, internships, or hands-on experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva, and basic video editing tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A self-motivated, dependable, and collaborative work style.
- A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a fast-paced professional environment.
