Roles and responsibilities
Role: Servicenow Integration Engineer
Band: Associate Software Engineer
Requested years of experience: 3–5 years
What we need you to contribute to Ensono:
- Design, build, and support ServiceNow‑centric integrations using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, and Flow Designer
- Develop and operate AWS‑based serverless components (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB) that support ServiceNow workflows
- Troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues across ServiceNow and AWS, including API failures, data issues, and asynchronous processing problems
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams to coordinate integration changes, incidents, and technical requirements
- Actively participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement of the team’s integration platform
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including integration workflows, data mappings, and operational runbooks

Mandatory Skills (What we are looking for)
- Hands‑on experience building ServiceNow integrations using:
- REST APIs (inbound and outbound)
- IntegrationHub and Flow Designer
- Scripted logic and custom actions
- Strong understanding of web services and integration patterns, including REST‑based authentication and error handling
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting integration issues in production environments
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience documenting integration designs and support procedures for operational use
Skills You Will Be Trained On After Onboarding
These are not required at hiring but will be developed through structured training and hands‑on projects:
- Practical experience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch
- Proficiency with Node.js for serverless and integration development
- AWS serverless architectures and event‑driven integration patterns
- Developing end to end integration between servicenow & other ITSM tools using AWS as middleware.
